Always The Catch of The Day!
The pow shape of the Stale Collection, the StaleFish is a freestyle-oriented, directional barracuda of a board. Loaded to the gills with taper, Free-the-Ride camber and Directional Diamond 3D for maximum float, railing carves and stomping deep landings. Yeah, it’s safe to say this thing is as fun as it looks
Features:
Bamboo Omega Hotrods: Thin rods of bamboo are milled into the board’s core starting just inside the insert packs and extending into the nose and/or tail. Bamboo HotRods are very pressable and playful.
Directional Diamond 3D: Designed to increase float in deep snow, improve handling in variable terrain, smooth turn initiation, reduce edge-catch and complement all-mountain riding in all senses.
Biax Glass: Fiberglass with two different axes, built to be torsionally more playful and pressable.
Pop Core: TRome's most versatile and durable core, built with alternating strips of 20mm strips of poplar and 20mm strips of paulownia.
Sinterstrong Base: Hardworking easy to fix sintered base that hauls ass everywhere.
Profile:
Directional Camber
Camber underfoot with a bit of rocker lift in the nose gives you the ultimate best of both worlds for a pow ready board that holds up in any condition.
This board bend has entry rocker that adds lift to the nose while a camber section under both feet maintains momentum and stability through deep-driving turns and variable conditions. This bend caters to those who like the attributes of traditional camber but want something that will get up to speed and float easier in pow.
Shape:
Directional Tapered
Directional tapered boards excel in a pure mountain environment. The tail sinks in pow for better float and quicker turns.
A directional shape with a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail get taken to the next level with a tapering design—which sees a wider nose tapering into a narrower tail. The advantages are two-fold: this shape not only sees mega-enhanced floatation with a surfy feel in deep powder, it also creates a faster turning snowboard which is noticeably more nimble and great for tree riding.
Flex:
6 (Scale 1-10)
Versatility at its finest. From the park to the peak and anywhere in between.
Base:
Sintered
High-end base material that is harder, more durable, and faster than extruded bases.
