PRODUCT INFORMATION

Profile: Directional Camber
Terrain: All Mountain/Powder
Response: Playful

Features:

  • Quadratic Sidecut: Blending of three radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style.
  • Slimewalls®: Forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. These babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
  • Linear Carbon: Two stringers of carbon running tip to tail add more snap for bigger ollie power.
  • Single Impact Plates: Urethane weaves added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double.
  • Roll-In Construction: Unique 3D structure built around our urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, preventing topsheet chipping while reducing weight.
  • Foundation™ Core: Tip-to-tail Aspen wood core with proven durability that retains pop and flex.
  • Biaxial Glass: 90° and 0° angles, fun and forgiving.

Profile: Directional Camber

Camber underfoot with a bit of rocker lift in the nose gives you the ultimate best of both worlds for a pow ready board that holds up in any condition. This board bend has entry rocker that adds lift to the nose while a camber section under both feet maintains momentum and stability through deep-driving turns and variable conditions. This bend caters to those who like the attributes of traditional camber but want something that will get up to speed and float easier in pow.

Shape: Directional

A smooth, reliable ride. Directional shapes generally feature a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail. These shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder. More twin-looking directional shapes where the difference between nose and tail appear minimal will perform best as crossover freestyle snowboards for those looking to still access the park, while more exaggerated differences will excel for additional float in deep powder.

Flex: 2 - 3 (Scale 1 - 10)

Playful Flex- Beginner. Forgiving, easy to learn and progress on.

Base: Extruded

An extruded base is the "reliable workhorse" of snowboard bases. It's made by melting and shaping a solid sheet of high-density polyethylene. Think of it as a tough plastic base. Extruded bases are low-maintenance and less expensive than sintered bases. They may not be as fast as sintered bases, they still offer a quality ride for beginner or intermediate riders.

Description:

The Manic is designed to take on the entire mountain. The Directional Standard Camber shape has camber between the bindings for snap and control with rocker at the tip and tail, providing effortless turn initiation and performance. The softer flex of the Manic makes it a solid all-mountain board for beginner to intermediate riders.
