PRODUCT INFORMATION

Big bang ATV energy! This playful flexing experimental AT V (All-Terrain Vehicle) snowboard is the brainchild of world-class ATV snowboarder and big picture advocate Elias Elhardt. Designed to be the most fun and reliable snowboard you can have under your feet no matter where you find yourself on the mountain. The Santoku‘s flex and shape are so diverse even park-style masters have made it their go-to shred stick. It‘s hard to give this board a category because it would thrive on any mountain in the galaxy.

Profile: Camber
Terrain: All-mountain
Response: Medium

Features:

  • Powercore II: The Powercore II is a tip-to-tail poplar wood core with additional beech wood stringers for unrivalled strength, smooth response and insane snap.
  • Reflex core profile: A thinner core profile between your feet improves handling and increases torsional flex, allowing you to steer your board through a turn with ease.
  • Sintered speed formula II Base: Rocket science put to work! A nanotech wax formula deeply infused into our sintered base material makes the base surface lightning fast in all snow conditions. Highly tuned yet extremely durable, SPEED FORMULA II Base technology is exclusively featured on Nitro high-end boards.
  • Dual degressive side-cut: This sidecut blends a smaller radius in the center with two larger ones in the tip and tail, making it loose and playful. Nitro's most forgiving sidecut.
  • All-terrain twin shape
  • Diamond bands
  • Mid-wide & wide width
  • True Camber
  • Shape by Dominik Fleissner
  • Graphic by Elias Elhardt & Jesse Williams

Profile: Camber

Precision, control and pop. The side profile of camber looks like a rainbow. Tried and true, camber has been the dominant board bend in the snowboard industry for almost 40 years. Adopted from the bend of alpine skis, camber snowboards deliver precise turning and edge control, with spring-loaded pop due to the bend in the board, providing better jumping characteristics. Advanced riders tend to prefer this bend, especially for hard carving and high-speed riding. Even when it comes to softer park snowboards, camber boards deliver exceptional pop and control.
However, they are not as forgiving of mistakes and can be more difficult to learn or progress on than a rocker or hybrid bend.

Shape: Twin

A completely symmetrical shape, which thrives in a variety of freestyle situations. At the core of its design, the twin shape features an identical nose and tail shape, which provides an identical feel and predictable maneuverability whether riding regular or switch. Although originally developed with park riders in mind, twin shapes have also grown to be embraced by many all-mountain riders that like to bring a skateboard style riding out of the park and onto the entire mountain.

Flex: 5 (Scale 1-10)

Medium flex. Versatility at its finest. From the park to the peak and anywhere in between.

Base: Sintered

High-end base material that is harder, more durable, and faster than extruded bases.
