PRODUCT INFORMATION
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Jones pro team rider Forrest Shearer has ripped more turns on the Hovercraft than anyone else on the planet. Shearer’s boots have been glued to the Hovercraft since it debuted in 2010 as the board’s nimble compact shape is a perfect match to his hard charging “tight loose” riding style.
Jones has honoured Shearer’s dedication to the Hovercraft with the debut of a Forrest Shearer Signature Series Hovercraft. The shape, flex and profile of Shearer's signature Hovercrafts are the same as the standard Hovercraft models. The only material difference between the Signature Series and standard Hovercrafts is that the Signature Series models feature an Eco-Plastic top-sheet instead of a Flax top-sheet.
Forrest worked with renowned artist Geoff McFetridge to design his signature graphics. McFetridge is a multi-disciplinary artist whose paintings, drawings, sculptures, animations and graphics have been featured in galleries and on consumer products around the world.

Profile: Directional Rocker (Multi-Camber)
A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern defined by more tip rocker than tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rockered tips floats the board’s nose and improves maneuverability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response. A slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board but helps keep the tail catch-free initiating turns and landing switch.
Shape: Directional
Directional shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder.
Flex: 7 (Scale 1 - 10)
Power. Precision. Control.
Base: Sintered
High-end base material that is harder, more durable, and faster than extruded bases.
