The Youth Solution is a high performance splitboard designed for youth and small adults. This fully featured splitboard throws open the door for smaller riders to confidently ride advanced backcountry terrain and explore the wilderness. The Youth Solution has a directional rocker profile that excels in the inevitably variable backcountry snow conditions and a tapered directional shape that sinks the tail for better float in pow. The Youth Solution also features a 3D Contour Base 1.0 that helps eliminate edge catch and improve turn fluidity and Inner/Outer Traction Tech 3.0 edges for added grip on icy skin tracks or firm descents. For speed and durability, the Youth Solution is built with a blazing fast Sintered 8000 base and the Boltless Bridge plus Karakoram Split and Tip + Tail Clips.

• Forever Flex: Forever Flex is a manufacturing process that helps stabilize the flex and rocker profile of a board for it’s lifetime. Our boards now finish the first stages of production slightly overbuilt and then we “break them in” using specialized machinery that mimics extreme riding use. By flexing the fresh board fibers and epoxy at the factory the materials settle in to their final arrangement within the board layup much the same as if you rode the board for 20 days. This process helps us narrow our production tolerances so the board you buy has a more accurate specified flex and rocker profile that will change less as you ride it more.

Precision, control and pop.

The side profile of camber looks like a rainbow. Tried and true, camber has been the dominant board bend in the snowboard industry for almost 40 years. Adopted from the bend of alpine skis, camber snowboards deliver precise turning and edge control, with spring-loaded pop due to the bend in the board, providing better jumping characteristics. Advanced riders tend to prefer this bend, especially for hard carving and high-speed riding. Even when it comes to softer park snowboards, camber boards deliver exceptional pop and control.

However, they are not as forgiving of mistakes and can be more difficult to learn or progress on than a rocker or hybrid bend.

Shape: Tapered Directional

Directional tapered boards excel in a pure mountain environment. The tail sinks in pow for better float and quicker turns.

A directional shape with a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail get taken to the next level with a tapering design—which sees a wider nose tapering into a narrower tail. The advantages are two-fold: this shape not only sees mega-enhanced floatation with a surfy feel in deep powder, it also creates a faster turning snowboard which is noticeably more nimble and great for tree riding.
