PRODUCT FEATURES
PRODUCT FEATURES
Key Features:
- Glassing: Biax Fiberglass - A flexible fiberglass layup that is used on the top and bottom of the cores in most of the DWD boards. AKA, Biax/Biax
- Core: Poplar Core w/ Birch Stringers - This is the benchmark in cores. It’s used in the entire DWD collection and flex is adjusted for each model with core thickness, camber profiles and added tech.
- Base: Sintered Base - A strong, high-density base with micropores that hold wax. It requires a regular waxing schedule. It’s our fastest and most durable base material.
- Single Radius - Based on a single radius from contact point to contact point. This style produces one evenly arced turn.
- Carbon V Stringer - Two carbon strips laid up in a V formation in the nose and/or tail. This formation channels energy to the contact points, increasing response and ollie power.
In-depth Tech Specs:
- Profile: Camberizer - When the snow gets deep, this camber profile keeps you on top! A slight reverse camber in the nose keeps the front end lifted, while traditional camber stretched through the tail lets you hammer every patch of innocent pow in your path!
- Shape: Directional - Directional shapes generally feature a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail. These shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder.
- Flex: 6 Versatility at its finest. From the park to the peak and anywhere in between.
