BEHIND THE PRODUCT
BEHIND THE PRODUCT
Blast and Dodge It All on this Quiver-of-One.
The guys at Burton spend a lot of time poking around Vermont's tight trees and icy lines, so they built the Burton Family Tree Hometown Hero Snowboard to blast through it all. It's a daily driver with a build and materials worthy of the Family Tree name. The directional shape has enough taper to float the nose on deeper days, while the board's directional camber and flex maintain the pop to keep it lively in all conditions and terrain.

PRODUCT FEATURES
PRODUCT FEATURES
Key Features:
- Glassing: Mystery Glass: This construction features a custom blend of fiberglass and carbon fiber specifically designed to optimize strength-to-weight and allows us to manipulate both flex and feel
- Core: Super Fly® 700G Core: This is a dual-species wood core that is loaded with pop and reduces overall weight without limiting performance.
- Base:Sintered Base: High-end base material that is harder, more durable, and faster than extruded bases.
In-depth Tech Specs:
- Profile: Directional Camber: Camber underfoot with a bit of rocker lift in the nose gives you the ultimate best of both worlds for a pow ready board that holds up in any condition. This board bend has entry rocker that adds lift to the nose while a camber section under both feet maintains momentum and stability through deep-driving turns and variable conditions. This bend caters to those who like the attributes of traditional camber but want something that will get up to speed and float easier in pow.
- Shape: Directional: Directional shapes generally feature a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail. These shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder. More twin-looking directional shapes where the difference between nose and tail appear minimal will perform best as crossover freestyle snowboards for those looking to still access the park, while more exaggerated differences will excel for additional float in deep powder.
- Flex: 7, A stiffer, stronger board to help you carve, jump and make the mountain your playground
