Profile: Camber
Terrain: Powder/Resort
Response: Medium

Features:

  • Bamboo Powerply
  • R. A. P. Topless Technology: A build process in which we eliminate the need for our Bio-Plastic Topsheet, creating a lighter, more eco-friendly ride.
  • Double Barrel ll Core: A progressive 1:2 Poplar and Paulownia blend with bamboo stringers running along the rails of the board for added torsional response and improved board control.
  • Mixed Glassing: A triax over biax lay–up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more.
  • 360* Fully Wrapped Sidewalls: A 360–degree, fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
  • Recycled Steel Edges: Highly durable, recycled steed edges embody two of Arbor’s key values: quality and sustainability.
  • Recycled ABS: When a plastic alternative is unavailable, as in the case of ABS sidewalls, we do our best to opt for a recycled material to improve the sustainability of our products.
  • Bio-Resin: All Powerplys and R.A.P. Topless Tech veneers will be made with Bio-Resin, a replacement for traditional petroleum based resin that doesn’t affect performance or usability. The ingredients that go into Bio-Resin are sourced as co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and are manufactured employing green chemistry techniques that reduce the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40% (when compared to its petroleum based equivalent).
  • Factory Tuned: Arbor detuned the tip and tail contact points on all of their snowboards for a catch-free ride before they leave the factory.
  • Wend Natural Wax
  • 2x4 14-Pack Inserts
  • .6 cm Taper:  A shaping technique that narrows the profile of the snowboard towards the rear contact points. Tapered snowboards will have a wider nose and narrower tail, allowing the tail of the board to sink in deeper snow creating natural float and cleaner tracking.

Profile:
 Camber

Precision, control and pop.

The side profile of camber looks like a rainbow. Tried and true, camber has been the dominant board bend in the snowboard industry for almost 40 years. Adopted from the bend of alpine skis, camber snowboards deliver precise turning and edge control, with spring-loaded pop due to the bend in the board, providing better jumping characteristics. Advanced riders tend to prefer this bend, especially for hard carving and high-speed riding. Even when it comes to softer park snowboards, camber boards deliver exceptional pop and control.

However, they are not as forgiving of mistakes and can be more difficult to learn or progress on than a rocker or hybrid bend.

Shape: Directional

A smooth, reliable ride.

Directional shapes generally feature a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail. These shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder. More twin-looking directional shapes where the difference between nose and tail appear minimal will perform best as crossover freestyle snowboards for those looking to still access the park, while more exaggerated differences will excel for additional float in deep powder.

Flex: 6 (Scale 1 - 10)

Versatility at its finest. From the park to the peak and anywhere in between.

Base: Sintered

A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.
