PRODUCT INFORMATION

Bryan Iguchi’s dream board finally came to life in collaboration with Arbor Snowboards. Explore a beautiful middle ground of pinnacle performance and technical terrain with comfortable, precise edging in bounds. Feel the Carbon Vector Net inlay provide a powerful torsional rebound and unmatched response on all terrain. Its unique elongated nose and tapered outline coupled with the proprietary System Camber and 3D fender technology make this board ride almost as good as it looks. Art by Bryan Iguchi.

Profile: Camber
Terrain: Powder/Resort
Response: Responsive

Features:

  • Inlaid Curly Maple Powerply
  • Bio-Plastic Topsheet: One of the materials we Arbor in the quest to eliminate harmful petroleum based plastics from our production cycle. Made from Castor Bean Oil, this eco-topsheet is extremely durable and water repellent.
  • Double Barrel ll Core: A progressive 1:2 Poplar and Paulownia blend with bamboo stringers running along the rails of the board for added torsional response and improved board control.
  • Cross Vector Netting: Newly developed Carbon Vector Net reinforcements create evenly distributed torsional power and accelerated response from tip to tail.
  • Mixed Glassing: A triax over biax lay–up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more.
  • Bio-Resin: All Powerplys and R.A.P. Topless Tech veneers will be made with Bio-Resin, a replacement for traditional petroleum based resin that doesn’t affect performance or usability. The ingredients that go into Bio-Resin are sourced as co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and are manufactured employing green chemistry techniques that reduce the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40% (when compared to its petroleum based equivalent).
  • Factory Tuned: Arbor detuned the tip and tail contact points on all of their snowboards for a catch-free ride before they leave the factory.
  • 360* Fully Wrapped Sidewalls: A 360–degree, fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
  • Recycled Steel Edges: Highly durable, recycled steed edges embody two of Arbor’s key values: quality and sustainability.
  • Recycled ABS: When a plastic alternative is unavailable, as in the case of ABS sidewalls, we do our best to opt for a recycled material to improve the sustainability of our products.
  • Offset Fenders 5 ° Nose / 3 ° Tail
  • 2 cm Taper
  • Wend Natural Wax

Profile:
 Camber

Precision, control and pop.

The side profile of camber looks like a rainbow. Tried and true, camber has been the dominant board bend in the snowboard industry for almost 40 years. Adopted from the bend of alpine skis, camber snowboards deliver precise turning and edge control, with spring-loaded pop due to the bend in the board, providing better jumping characteristics. Advanced riders tend to prefer this bend, especially for hard carving and high-speed riding. Even when it comes to softer park snowboards, camber boards deliver exceptional pop and control.

However, they are not as forgiving of mistakes and can be more difficult to learn or progress on than a rocker or hybrid bend.

Shape: Directional

A smooth, reliable ride.

Directional shapes generally feature a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail. These shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder. More twin-looking directional shapes where the difference between nose and tail appear minimal will perform best as crossover freestyle snowboards for those looking to still access the park, while more exaggerated differences will excel for additional float in deep powder.

Flex: 8 (Scale 1 - 10)

Power, Precision, Control.

Base: Sintered

A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.
