The Nidecker Supermatic is what snowboarding has been waiting for: the first universal, dual-entry, automatic binding. Many brands have tried and failed to crack the step-in code. Most of these systems required specific boots; many didn’t work well in powder; and none of them were as comfortable and reliable as a regular two-strap binding. Nidecker spent four years developing their own solution that addresses all these issues, and it’s a genuine game changer.

Overall it’s a mid-stiff binding which the Nidecker team have rated as their most comfortable to date. Nylon+ Ultraback - 30% GLASS FIBER, 70% NYLON Designed exclusively for Nideckers game-changing Supermatic binding, the Nylon+ Ultraback features an asymmetric shape to fit your boots perfectly. The responsive glass-filled nylon construction provides solid support with just enough flex to style things out, while an integrated forward lean adjuster allows full customization.
Hexo Toecap - The Hexo Toecap strap features AuxTech®; a 3D hinged auxetic pattern that expands evenly over your boot for next level comfort.
Drop IN™ - Drop IN™ Technology works using a triggered hiback. Just push your foot in through the back and step down on the heel pedal to automatically engage the binding. That’s it – you’re ready to shred. A simple push on the release lever makes exiting just as rapid; lift your boot up and out and you're done.
AuxTech® - AuxTech® straps feature a geometric pattern that acts as a network of tiny hinges. As you tighten the ratchet, the webbing expands evenly around your boot without stretching the material. The result is better pressure distribution, less foot fatigue and a more direct sense of connection.
Active-Strap - Active Strap Technology is featured on the Supermatic® and Flow Design models. It automatically lifts up the footstraps when you open the reclining hiback, and actively tightens them again to your pre-selected position when you close the hiback. This creates more room for your boot, making entry and exit more effortless than ever.
