BEHIND THE PRODUCT

The 2025 Bataleon Disaster snowboard is the only board that will live up to its name if you don't actually buy it. Otherwise, it's a park rat and rail riders dream board (aka the Rixon pro model). The buttery soft, low camber profile makes it ridiculously easy to press this board to its limit, while still holding its own when you're throwing it onto rails, over jumps or powering down a groomer. The Disasters Twin 3BT shape keeps edge catching to a minimum so you can lock and load over every park feature with ease. No rail or box is scary when you've got the Disaster under you, it will forever have your back.

*Wide: A wider waist width for those with larger footprints. Recommended for boot sizes 11.5+*

PRODUCT FEATURES

Key Features:

  • Glassing: Bi-Ax Lamination - A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.
  • Core: Core Core - This is a full Poplar wood core with Beech hardwood laid tip to tail, reinforcing the inserts and increasing pop.
  • Base: Hyper Glide S - This is the standard sintered base from Bataleon. Tough and fast, and even faster when you keep it waxed.
  • 3BT+ Sidekick-3BT - At the heart of every Bataleon is 3BT (Triple Base Technology). It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance

In-depth Tech Specs:

  • Profile: Low Camber - All 3BT boards have a positive camber profile but vary in the degree of camber and uplift across the width of the board. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail.
  • Shape: Twin - Boards that are shaped for the park are designed with maximum center base width and minimal side base uplift. Creating a stable landing platform with confidence boosting forgiveness and next level agility.
  • Flex: 2 Softer snowboards are easier to press and handle if you make a mistake
