From icy runs to amazing pow days, the Story is a directional, all-mountain beast. The stiffened, slightly tapered tail and basalt stringers make for a lightweight, smooth and snappy ride. Combined with Magne-Traction® along the edges, a multi-camber profile, and a setback stance – you’ve got a board that can tackle the entire mountain. With its blend of amazing eco-friendly technologies and newly updated shape for increased all-mountain dominance, the award-winning Story is a beautifully different kind of deck.

Key Features:

Glassing: Snappy Sap Bio Resin - Traditional resins can be extremely toxic to people and the environment. For Niche, they partnered with Entropy Resins to create the one-of-a-kind, Snappy Sap Bio-Resin.
Core: Sustainable Wood Core - The forests that are used for Niche snowboard cores are managed carefully to meet the social, economic, ecological, cultural and spiritual needs of current and future generations.
Base: Sintered Base - Made up of tiny ground up pellets of P-Tex that are crushed and put back together under high temperatures. This process creates a much stronger molecular mass and will absorb wax and bond better to new p-tex for stronger repair
2X Basalt Stringers - A replacement for carbon fiber with similar characteristics; 2 straight Basalt Stringers are strung tip-to-tail to increase pop for jumping, torsional snapback for smoother carving AND stability at speed by damping those nasty vibrations.
Magnetraction - Extra edge contact points to give your board more edge control and stability especially in icy conditions
Tapered, 20 MM setback, 5 MM tail Taper - A tapered tail and setback stance help drive power from the back end of your board through the nose, and make the nose float more easily in deep snow conditions with less effort.
Water Based Inks - Niche uses non-toxic, solvent-free, water-based inks for printing graphics.
