We’ve improved it with our cutting-edge Recurve Traditional Camber — Triple Camber arched into a powerful camber-dominant profile. The perfectly balanced, mid-wide Proto Ultra features a stiffer flex than the Proto Synthesis. The performance-oriented Recurve Traditional Camber featuring R.I.P. Edge Hold Technology offers better edge hold, easier release, and quicker response than older camber profiles. It has explosive pop and high-speed boost in and out of turns, maintaining the Ultra's superior energy and power.

Glassing: Bi-Lite Fiberglass - BI-LITE FIBERGLASS combines many of the strength characteristics of Never SumersSTS fiberglass with an ultra-light glass fiber matrix. This delivers incredible freestyle and freeride performance without sacrificing durability.
Core: WooBoo Wood Core - Combines Bamboo stringers, Paulownia, Poplar and Birch. The Bamboo stringers are light, and extremely strong and give the board quick reflex and lessens vibration. Paulowina is a hardwood that can grow up to 15 feet a year! Bamboo and Paulownia are great sustainable options, Other hardwoods, Poplar and Birch are added, giving the core a great strength-to-weight ratio. Birch is strategically placed underneath the mounting inserts for a secure, solid connection
Base: Durasurf XT Sintered 5501 Base - Just the right amount of graphite has been added making the DURASURF XT SINTERED 5501 BASE one of the fastest and certainly the most durable P-Tex bases on the market
RDS 2 Damping System - The laminated damping layers of RDS 1 are the most extensive in the line. Utilizing a high amount of elastomeric rubber along the effective edge provides unmatched vibration damping and edge hold in variable snow conditions.
