The new Tweaker is a freestyle focused true twin that’s built to pop ollies, toss tricks, and carve creative lines in any terrain. A True Twin shape, buttery flex and True Camber profile give the Tweaker a playful, evenly balanced board feel, but don’t mistake the Tweaker for your average freestyle twin. The Tweaker’s unique double radius nose and tail profile maximise the running length of the blunted shape and offer amazing float, while the V-core profiling on the Tweaker’s Classic Core makes the flex softer between the feet for nimble maneuverability and stiffer in the tips for supreme stomp-ability. The Tweaker has Traction Tech 2.0 edges for added edge grip riding through rough snow, and the spooned nose and tail edges on the 3D Contour Base 3.0 reduce edge catch and make it easy to butter and board slide. Finished with a Sintered 8000 base and an Eco-plastic topsheet, the Tweaker is a durable and high performance modern manifestation of a timeless true twin snowboard shape.

Features:

3D Base Contour 3.0: Freeride focused 3D Contour Base featuring a 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0 to 7mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts at the rocker point.

Traction Tech 3.0: Traction Tech 3.0 features three bumps per edge (front binding, board center, back binding). The middle bump is slightly bigger than the outside bumps for better grip.

Progressive Sidecut: At the far ends of the sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the sidecut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.

Blunt Nose: How a board glides in powder, crust, corn or any snow more than an inch deep, is dictated by it’s front contact point and just past it. Next time you are in soft snow watch how much snow comes over the corner of the nose near the contact point. The billowing snow coming out from behind the tip means you are plowing through it which is obviously slowing you down. By adding a blunt nose you get the float benefits of a much longer nose without the ‘snow plow’ rounded tip and it’s extra swing weight. - Jeremy Jones

Twin Flex Pattern: Balanced flex pattern with equal stiffness and torsional response in the nose and tail.

V-core 3.0: Jones exclusive wood core profiling that offers a stable and playful board feel. The wood core is softer between the feet for easy turn initiation and stiffer in the nose and tail for stability riding through uneven terrain and landing airs.

Double Radius Tips

Sustainable Flax/Basalt Stringers: Jones exclusive sustainable stringer made with 100% natural fibers. Composite Flax and Basalt stringer helps transfer power to the edges, improves torsional response and absorbs board chatter.

Sintered 8000 Base: New super durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon. Base is easily repairable, highly wax absorbent and wicked fast.

Oversized Recycled Edges: Added durability and improved production sustainability.

Recycled Black ABS: ABS Plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. Jones improve the sustainability of their snowboards by using only recycled plastic.

Bio Resin: A bio-based epoxy made with 27% plant-based carbon instead of petroleum-based carbon. The organic materials used to make it are waste products of plant-based industrial processes. They require 33% less greenhouse gas emissions to produce than conventional epoxy.

Wend Natural Wax: Factory waxed with natural wax.

Forever Flex: Helps with stabilizing the flex and rocker of a board for its lifetime.

Profile:

True Camber

A traditional full camber profile that offers the insane edge response of camber without the usual hang-ups. The camber radius tapers into the beveled 3D Contour Base at the tips which releases the edges where they like to hook and balances the pop and directional stability of camber with a looser, less-catchy feel.

Jones' First Ever True Twin

Can you believe it?! It’s not fake news. We are finally making the most popular snowboard shape of all time - a true freestyle twin!
A buttery, freestyle focused, true twin may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Jones, but that’s exactly why we seized the opportunity to develop one. The Tweaker is the result of many years of questioning how we could reinvent such a classic shape and flex. The true twin is a shape that a lot of brands have done well, so we had no intention of producing a status quo rendition just to expand into that space.

The Tweaker came to life because we found a truly unique shape, profile and feature set that brought something new to the table. This board is not your average true twin.

What sets the Tweaker apart are the subtleties of the tip shape and tip rocker profile. The tips feature a double radius rocker profile that lifts the tip more at the very end. Combined with the heavily blunted tip shape, the Tweaker has more surface area and a longer running length than usual for a board it’s size. The extra volume and running length improve board stability and stomp-ability which is crucial for a board that has such a freestyle focused flex. This is a board that butters as well as it carves which is not something you can say about many boards of this style.
