PRODUCT INFORMATION
If you are serious about teaching the joy of snowboarding to your kids, then you have to think out of the conventional snowboard mindset. Set up the board properly with waxing and de-tuning of the edges and let your kid learn the glee of gliding through their senses of wonder. Gentemstick Kid’s Sticks series use the same material as their grownups' boards and have been specifically designed for kids.
There may be many ways to teach a kid to ride a snowboard, but we believe that the most important is to make them aware of the glide through their senses. The board should be a tool to sharpen the child's sensations. This is Gentemstick's concept for designing and building the Kid's Sticks series.
Profile: Directional Camber
Terrain: Resort/Powder
Response: Medium
Features:
-
Big Nose: Adds float in deep powder and soft snow conditions.
-
Half-Moon Tail: Increases control and performance in deep snow conditions.
- Stainless Steel Edges: Extremely durable and provides optimal grip and in all conditions.
Profile: Directional Camber
Camber underfoot with a bit of rocker lift in the nose gives you the ultimate best of both worlds for a pow ready board that holds up in any condition.
This board bend has entry rocker that adds lift to the nose while a camber section under both feet maintains momentum and stability through deep-driving turns and variable conditions. This bend caters to those who like the attributes of traditional camber but want something that will get up to speed and float easier in pow.
Shape: Directional
A smooth, reliable ride.
Directional shapes generally feature a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail. These shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder. More twin-looking directional shapes where the difference between nose and tail appear minimal will perform best as crossover freestyle snowboards for those looking to still access the park, while more exaggerated differences will excel for additional float in deep powder.
Flex: 5 (Scale 1 - 10)
Versatility at its finest. From the park to the peak and anywhere in between.
Base: Sintered
High-end base material that is harder, more durable, and faster than extruded bases.
