The only element that has remained the same over the years is the name itself. This iconic CAPITA series is packed with technology integrating post-consumer recycled plastics into an extraordinarily lightweight and powerful core alongside a CARBON FLEECE POWER SHIELD™ and AMPLITEX™ V-TECH AMPLIFIER.

The contemporary Black Snowboard of Death features a slightly wider frame with tighter side-cut arcs and Death Grip™, a reverse side-cut arc in the midsection that enables the shape to whip into quick turns. With a well-balanced directional shape and high-powered construction, this
custom-designed rocket ship allows for incredible control—making you a better snowboarder in variable terrain and changing conditions.

Glassing: Holysheet™ Tri/Bi Fiberglass - The HOLYSHEET™ fiberglass configuration features fiber weaves with a high tensile strength and low modulus of elasticity. With a higher roving count in the same weight of glass, you can have a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight. It features Triaxial fiberglass on top of the core and Biaxial fiberglass beneath, creating a perfectly blended ride while increasing strength and durability.
Core: Thermopolymer Hover Core - Enhanced with bonded post-consumer recycled Thermopolymer channels into ultra-lightweight select grain wood core strips.
Base: Hyperdrive Adv XT Base - This custom formulated base uses exceptional anti-friction properties due to high molecular mass and specialized processing aids to make a sintered material that is beyond fast and is one of the fastest, meanest and best bases available.
Skinless Core Ash Woodgrain Topsheet - This board has a specially treated pure wood veneer topsheet with a unique tactile feel that is 220gm light than a standard top sheet.
Moonshot Omni-Tune - CAPITA has taken it a step further and given this base a stone grind structure which helps it glide over snow with minimal resistance and is optimized for regular and switch riding.

Profile: ALPINE V1 PROFILE - Positive camber through most of the board for a stable and poppy ride, with a reverse camber nose and flat tail for effortless float in deep snow
Shape: Progressive Directional - Built specifically for directional all mountain charging, this board has a radial side cut teamed up with a tapered tail. This narrower tail naturally drops down into the powder while the wider nose section floats above the snow line. The result is less fatigue and more fun as the board surfs powder or charges through slush and hard pack.
Flex: 6 Stiff enough to plow through the powder and hold a strong edge, but soft enough to be forgiving when you need it.
