3BT Technology: Through lots of research, analyzing, tinkering, and testing, Bataleon came up with the patented 3BT™ shaping technique. All Bataleon boards feature tip to tail positive camber in combination with lifted contact points at the widest part of the board. Over the years Bataleon has perfected 3BT™ to best perform for every kind of riding by fine tuning the synergies between the flat base, side bases, radii and camber.

Flat Base Riding

The widest section of the board is lifted off the snow while riding flat based. This allows you to ride straight without hooking up or needing to keep your edges engaged.

 Turn Initiation

When set on a slight angle, the sidebase starts to engage near the bindings. Unlike traditional flat boards, pressure remains constant along the contact edge.

 On Edge

While on edge, the 3D shaped sidecut forms a complete arc with the snow, offering unparalleled grip and turning power.

• 3BT: Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.
• Sidekick: SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.
• Biax Laminate: Bataleon's traditional and time tested two-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive; keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness.
• Light Core Woodcore: 50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.
• DST Supertubes: Dual Super Tubes, a Super Tube on either side of the board enhances pop and gives the camber more snap.
• +4 Backseat Inserts: Backseat inserts are extra inserts 4cm behind the bottom inserts. This allows you to set your bindings all the way back, so you can keep floating on those deep pow days. By shifting your weight more back on the board the nose stays up and the pressure on you back leg is reduced.
• Shock Walls Sidewall: This is the Urethane infused sidewall technology. ShockWalls smooth out your ride and are more resistant to impact.
• Carbon Stringers:  tried and tested carbon layups. We deploy them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Profile: Camber

Precision, control and pop.

The side profile of camber looks like a rainbow. Tried and true, camber has been the dominant board bend in the snowboard industry for almost 40 years. Adopted from the bend of alpine skis, camber snowboards deliver precise turning and edge control, with spring-loaded pop due to the bend in the board, providing better jumping characteristics. Advanced riders tend to prefer this bend, especially for hard carving and high-speed riding. Even when it comes to softer park snowboards, camber boards deliver exceptional pop and control.

Shape: Directional Twin

Directional twins are a combination of true twins and directional boards, combining the best elements of both designs to create one versatile board that can do it all.

This board has more lift in the nose, and a shaped tail, making it a great carver and pow rider.
